Good Old Potosi Beer, the legacy continues. From Potosi Brewing Company, Potosi, WI, this 5.0% golden ale is brewed like a lager, and sure enough that’s what I thought it was. Potosi pours medium gold with an ample white head and plenty of carbonation. The sweet bouquet is light with a touch of tang at the end. There’s even a hint of berry in the sweetness. The taste follows suit. There’s a touch of grain in the exhale. To me it just kind of misses.
What’s really cool about Potosi is the museum. I haven’t been, but am truly anxious to visit. I smell an October road trip!
