Hopalicious

I had the pleasure of attending the Games+Learning+Society conference the last 2 days, and was fortunate enough to sample some of the fine Madison area beers.  Hopalicious, by Ale Asylum is an American Pale Ale, heavy on the hops and very enjoyable.  It’s hazy and honey colored, not extremely carbonated, but lively on the tongue.  It’s really hoppy, but not astringent.  There’s a deep sweetness that serves as a nice compliment to the hoppy spiciness.  It finishes dry.  A very palatable brew.

Also picked up some brews from Lake Louie Brewing.  I’ll sample the Belgian tonight.
