Mmm, beer from a can….
Kalnapilis (wasn’t that Atticus Finch’s housekeeper?) Original is a light gold, slightly hazy (I hope it is supposed to be that way) lager with plenty of carbonation and good white head of fine bubbles.The bouquet is sweet with a hint of berries (lots of that lately, I hope it’s not due to the amount of blueberries I’ve been consuming) and a touch of spicy hops. Smooth texture and medium bodied, this beer is good, but no in a unique way. There are floral, berry hints in the finish and a dryish texture in the aftertaste. It’s not bad.
Canned beer from local Bulgarian store is OK by me.
